Our First Ever Pop-up Shop

What an exciting day we had on 18th March when we took part in the West Australian Quilter’s Association’s (WAQA’s) inaugural shop hop. It took 4 cars and 8 family members to get everything down to our pop-up shop location!

Our first customer arrived spot on 9am, and shortly after the room was full of noise and laughter as it filled with quilters looking for a bargain. Leesa Chandler’s Melba fabric range was by far the most popular on the day, and our fabric dyes seemed quite popular too.

Congratulations to Prue Ling and Shirley Fry who won our door prizes! We hope you enjoy them ladies.

We’d like to say a very big thankyou to WAQA for organising the shop hop and supporting local quilting businesses. We’d also like to thank our family for helping out so enthusiastically, and Leesa Chandler, Marie Robinson and Helen Gerloff for loaning us their beautiful quilts and other items for display.

But most of all we’d like to thank all those ladies who dropped in to visit us. You made it a fun, worthwhile experience that we would definitely like to do again!
